Austin Powell

Founder and Owner's Representative

I spent twelve years managing builds where the open date could not move. Event fabrication and experiential environments: national activations with fixed show dates, custom fabrication, dozens of vendors, and a hard deadline that arrives whether the work is finished or not. You learn backward scheduling quickly, and you learn that the schedule fails in procurement long before it fails on site.

A dental practice buildout is the same problem wearing different clothes. A fixed opening date, a budget that cannot absorb surprises, a general contractor with their own incentives, and an owner who has never done this and is signing every check. The difference is that in events, the client had a producer. In dentistry, most owners have nobody.

I earned the PMP to put a formal framework under a decade of applied practice, and I built Flagship Practice around the piece the market leaves uncovered. There is real coaching in dental startup support, and it is genuinely good. What there is not, at least not locally and not construction-first, is someone whose entire job is sitting on the doctor's side of the table for the eighteen months that decide whether the practice opens on budget.

That is the whole business. One firm, one loyalty.

ApproachPrinciples
01

The budget is a promise

The number set in Phase 01 is the number we manage to. If it has to change, you hear it from us early and in writing, not in a final invoice.

02

No money from anyone but you

No commissions, rebates or referral fees from contractors, suppliers or equipment reps. It is the only structure where the advice stays yours.

03

Decisions get written down

A running decision log means nobody relitigates a choice from three months ago, and change orders meet a documented baseline.

04

You always reach a person

When something goes wrong on your project you get me, not a portal, a ticket queue or a chatbot.

Worth a conversation.

Thirty minutes, no cost, no pitch. If Flagship is not the right fit I will tell you on the call.
